Samuel glanced at the ornate clock on the church tower.  He was late delivering the mysterious parcel for the local bullies.

Hastily, he grabbed his bike and seized the parcel.  Samuel cycled speedily down the dusty track.

NO!!! A puncture; Samuel knelt down. Before he could think what to do an oversized red,  venomous snake slithered slowly round the corner flicking its fork tongue, smelling the air.

Silently, the squirming, slithering, scarlet snake sneeked off into his lair with Samuel’s parcel.

Frantically, Samuel searched, scared and confused, where could the parcel be?
